Precisely made, turned from metal, the 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 barrel is intended for the enhancement of plastic models of the German medium tank Sd.Kfz. 171 Panther in 1:48 scale. The set includes a metal barrel, a multi-part muzzle brake, and photo-etched elements, allowing for a significantly higher level of realism compared to standard plastic parts.

The product is dedicated to Panther tank models in the following versions:

Ausf. A
Ausf. D
Ausf. G

The barrel fits kits from manufacturers such as Tamiya and Hobby Boss. The use of a metal replacement eliminates the problem of seams created after gluing plastic barrel halves and ensures the perfect geometry of the element.

Historical note:
The 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 gun was the main armament of the German Panther tank. Considered one of the most effective anti-tank guns of World War II, it was characterized by an exceptionally high muzzle velocity and excellent armor penetration, allowing it to destroy most Allied vehicles from long distances. The long barrel (70 calibers) became a hallmark of the Panther, making it a formidable opponent on every front of the war.
