Plastic Car Models for Assembly
Our model shop offers a wide range of available car models for assembly. We have models from brands such as Tamiya, Aoshima, Hasegawa, and Fujimi. Most car models are made in 1/24 scale, but there are occasional exceptions - for example, the American brand AMT produces models in 1/25 scale. We also have models of racing cars - these are mainly available in 1/20 scale, but not always.
Most manufacturers of car models for assembly come from Japan, which is why the largest selection is in the range of Japanese vehicles. If you are a fan of JDM, you will definitely find car models perfect for you in our model shop. When you hear the phrase KANSEI DORIFTO and envision the fastest tofu delivery driver in Trueno - we have a whole series of vehicles dedicated to Initial D. Even lesser-known models of Toyota or Nissan are available as assembly models. It is also worth checking out the offer from Aoshima, which, in addition to factory cars, offers vehicles with various complete body kits or lowered suspensions.
Car models, unlike airplane or tank models, are painted "glossy" - the final appearance of the model is greatly influenced by the painting itself. For this reason, the body (car body) is best painted with spray paints, or - if available - with an airbrush. Achieving the same "cleanliness" of painting with a brush is quite difficult, requires a high level of brush painting skills, and is rarely used even by experienced modelers. Finally, it is worth protecting the car with glossy clear coat, and for an even better effect - polishing it with dedicated modeling polishing pastes.
Many car models also have an engine model, allowing for painting and replicating its appearance, and the model can proudly stand on display with the hood open.
Whether you are a car enthusiast looking to explore a new hobby, modeling - and thus create a model of your favorite car for your shelf by yourself, or you are an experienced modeler wanting to try your hand at assembling a "clean" car - we warmly invite you to check out the offer of our online model shop.
