History and application of the vehicle: The AR-2 (43105) vehicle was designed for mechanized laying of hose lines from the fire site. Production of this model began in 1989. The vehicle is based on the proven KAMAZ-43105 off-road chassis, which has been equipped with a fully metal body with side and rear doors. The interior of the body is divided into two compartments: the front, which contains firefighting equipment, and the rear, designated for fire hoses. Special racks inside the body allow for the creation of sections of various sizes.

The vehicle's crew consists of a driver and two operators. The first operator is responsible for controlling the hose assembly mechanism, while the second monitors the laying of hoses and controls their arrangement in the body after use. The length of the hose line can exceed 2.5 kilometers. Despite the passage of years, some of these vehicles are still used in fire departments.
