Plastic assembly model depicting the legendary Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo race car in its 1978 specification. This vehicle was developed by the German racing team Zakspeed for participation in the DRM (Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft) championships. The original featured an extremely low and wide "silhouette" body, which was the result of intensive wind tunnel research. Powered by a 1427cc Cosworth BDA engine with a KKK turbocharger, it generated 375 HP with an unladen weight of only 790 kg.
