Description
Plastic model aircraft kit: A-26C-15 Invader 1:48 ICM 48283
The Douglas A-26 Invader was considered one of the best American twin-engine bombers of World War II. Designed as a successor to the Douglas A-20 Havoc and North American B-25 Mitchell aircraft, it was characterized by exceptional aerodynamics, high performance, and versatility of use. The A-26C version, produced between 1942-1945, featured a glazed nose section housing precise Norden sighting instruments, allowing for highly accurate bombing. These aircraft actively participated in combat operations in Western Europe, Italy, and the Pacific in 1944-1945.
