Description
Plastic model airplane to assemble: A-7A Corsair II 1:72 Hasegawa B8
The plastic model in 1:72 scale represents the American A-7A Corsair II aircraft, which was the successor to the popular A-4 Skyhawk. The A-7A was designed as a multi-role, carrier-based attack aircraft capable of conducting strikes against land and sea targets. Its design was similar to the F-8 Crusader fighter-bomber, which allowed for reduced production time and lower costs. The model in version A, which is the first production series, was introduced into service in 1967 and is an excellent representation of this important aircraft, which gained recognition in the U.S. Navy.
