History of the Aero MB-200 airplane
The Aero MB-200 is a French medium-range bomber designed by the Bloch company (later Dassault Aviation) and produced under license in Czechoslovakia by Aero Vodochody. This aircraft entered service in the 1930s and was used by the air forces of France, Czechoslovakia, and several other countries. The MB-200 was one of the first bombers to introduce an entirely metal structure, which was a groundbreaking solution at the time. Its distinctive silhouette with two engines and a rectangular fuselage made it easily recognizable.
The Aero MB-200 was primarily used as a bomber, but also for reconnaissance and training tasks. During its service, this aircraft participated in many military operations, and its design was the basis for further work on the development of bombers in the pre-World War II period. Although it was somewhat outdated at the outbreak of the war, its role in the development of military aviation was invaluable.
