The detailing set containing metal barrels is intended for models of the Soviet heavy tank Object 279 in 1:35 scale (dedicated to kits from Panda and Takom). The set includes a precisely turned main armament barrel and machine gun barrels along with photo-etched elements.

Historical background:
The M-65 is a Soviet tank gun of caliber 130 mm from the post-war period. It was designed as the main armament of the experimental heavy tank Object 279. The gun, with a barrel length of 60 calibers (780 cm), featured an enormous penetration power, allowing it to defeat armor thickness of 450 mm from a distance of 1000 meters. Due to the use of separate loading ammunition, the rate of fire was about 6-7 rounds per minute. The Object 279 tank itself, despite its innovative hull design resistant to the shock wave of a nuclear explosion, never went into mass production.
