About the Bell AH-1Z Viper: The Bell AH-1Z Viper, also known as the "Zulu Cobra," is a twin-engine attack helicopter that is an evolution of the AH-1W SuperCobra model. It was designed and produced by Bell Helicopter Textron as part of the H-1 modernization program aimed at upgrading the USMC helicopter fleet.
The AH-1Z Viper was primarily designed for strike and escort missions. The prototype's first flight took place in December 2000, and in 2010 the helicopter achieved combat readiness. Since then, it has become a key component of USMC air forces, supporting expeditionary operations. The helicopter is also exported to other countries, such as Bahrain and the Czech Republic.
