Original BMW R nineT motorcycle: The BMW R nineT is a standard motorcycle produced by BMW Motorrad since 2014. It is a retro-style roadster designed as a "canvas for customization" for enthusiasts and builders. This motorcycle combines classic elements such as a tubular frame, dual instruments, and ribbed engine cover with modern technologies, including a horizontally opposed twin-cylinder boxer engine, upside-down telescopic forks, and a third-generation Paralever suspension system. All models are equipped with ABS systems, and optional automatic stability control (ASC) is available.

The BMW R nineT is known for its ease of modification due to separate wiring harnesses for the engine and chassis and a minimal number of screws securing the rear subframe, taillights, and headlight. The R nineT version features upside-down telescopic forks, which distinguishes it from other BMW models that typically use Telelever suspension.
