The Bristol Superfreighter is a British transport aircraft that was a development of the Bristol Type 170 Freighter design. This machine was specifically designed for the roll-on/roll-off transport of cars across the English Channel, which necessitated a characteristic enlargement of the forward fuselage to accommodate up to three passenger cars instead of two, as in the previous version.
