British AAC Helicopters Paint Set 8x17ml Hataka BS87
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing standard colors used by the British Army Air Corps (AAC) since the 1970s.
The set allows for the recreation of various paint schemes used over the decades, including the classic Olive Drab and Black camouflage, newer Olive Green and Medium Sea Grey, as well as desert paints from the Granby operations (Gulf War, 1991).
Contents of the set:
- HTK-B146 BS Olive Drab (BS381C:298) - standard color for AAC helicopters from the 1970s to the 1990s.
- HTK-B125 NATO Black - used in combination with Olive Drab in the 1970s-90s.
- HTK-B236 BS Olive Green (BS381C:220) - used since the 1990s on rotors and in newer camouflage schemes.
- HTK-B141 BS Medium Sea Grey (BS381C:637) - part of the modern camouflage for AAC helicopters and AW159 Wildcat.
- HTK-B144 BS Dark Sea Grey (BS381C:638) - used in the camouflage scheme of AW159 Wildcat machines.
- HTK-B237 BS Light Stone (BS381C:361) - color used in improvised desert camouflage during the Granby operations.
- HTK-B068 US Army Desert Sand (FS30279) - used for field paints of Lynx and Gazelle machines in 1991.
- HTK-B067 US Army Helicopter Drab (FS34031) - standard color for the Westland Longbow Apache AH.1 helicopter fleet.
