Historical description: The 17pdr Mk.I anti-tank gun was one of the most powerful guns used by the British army during World War II. Its caliber was 76.2 mm, and thanks to the use of APDS (Armour-Piercing Discarding Sabot) ammunition, it could penetrate the armor of the heaviest German tanks, such as the Tiger II. This gun was also mounted on various tank chassis, including the famous Sherman Firefly, which significantly increased its mobility and effectiveness on the battlefield.
