A plastic model kit depicting the famous British Bofors 40 mm anti-aircraft gun in the Mk-1/2 version along with its crew. The set is prepared in the Snap-Fit system, which means the model's construction allows it to be assembled without the use of glue, while maintaining high detail fidelity.
Historical Background:
The Bofors 40 mm L/60 anti-aircraft gun is one of the most successful designs in the history of anti-aircraft artillery. Developed by the Swedish company Bofors in 1932, it quickly gained worldwide recognition. In Great Britain, it became the primary weapon of anti-aircraft defense during the Battle of Britain, protecting London and other key cities from Luftwaffe raids. Thanks to its reliability and effectiveness, this gun was produced under license in many countries (including Poland and the USA) and remained in active service in some armies until the 1980s.
Set Characteristics:
- Scale: 1:72
- Number of parts: 57
- Model length: 9.5 cm
- The set includes 4 crew figurines
- Can be assembled in two variants (combat and transport)
- Includes a base with a flag for the Art of Tactic game system

The model is part of the Art of Tactic "World War II" wargame system, but it is also an excellent standalone collection item for scale modelers in 1:72.
Model kit for self-assembly. Does not include paints or tools. No glue required for assembly.
For assembly, you will need, for example, a knife or nippers - to cut the plastic parts from the sprues. Additional modeling tools (including files or tweezers) and paints will also be useful (but are not required).
