A set of figures in 1:72 scale depicting the British headquarters during World War II (1939-1945). The model has been developed using the Snap Fit system, allowing for assembly without glue, although glue can be used for a more durable effect.
The set includes:
- 4 unpainted figures of soldiers and officers
- 1 unit flag
- A card with unit characteristics for the Art of Tactic game system
Historical background:
In 1940, the staff of the British infantry regiment consisted of a commander with the rank of lieutenant colonel, senior officers, an adjutant, and non-commissioned officers serving as communicators and clerks. Their main task was to coordinate the actions of subordinate units and cooperate with neighboring units. British officers traditionally carried officer's canes and were armed with Enfield No. 2 Mk. 1 or Webley Mk. 4 revolvers. Sergeants, on the other hand, were equipped with Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. 3 rifles and characteristic gas mask bags worn on the chest in a ready position.
Model specifications:
- Number of parts: 21
- Height of figures: approx. 2.4 cm
- Material: Plastic
Set for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (e.g. cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
