Plastic model kit: Chinese Fleet Set 2 1:2000 Meng MH-002
This plastic model kit in 1:2000 scale depicts modern vessels of the People's Liberation Army Navy of China. The set includes several models of ships and submarines, allowing for the creation of a miniature strike group.
The set includes:
- Aircraft Carrier Type 001 (Liaoning)
- Dock Landing Ship Type 075 (Yushen Class)
- Guided Missile Destroyer Type 052D (Luyang III)
- Hospital Ship Peace Ark (Type 920)
- Submarines Type 039 (Song Class)
- Nuclear Submarines with Ballistic Missiles Type 094 (Jin Class)
The models feature a simplified design, making assembly easier while retaining the characteristic details of the vessels' silhouettes. Each model comes with a dedicated display base with a description in Chinese. The set also includes miniature aircraft (helicopters and J-15 fighters) to be placed on the flight decks.
Assembly and painting required. Does not include paints or glue. Assembly requires separately sold modeling tools (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
