Original Citroen C4 WRC: The Citroen C4 WRC was designed by Citroen Racing specifically for competition in the World Rally Championship. This car is based on the road model Citroen C4 and replaced its predecessor, the Citroen Xsara WRC. Equipped with four-wheel drive, a 2-liter turbo engine, and a six-speed gearbox, the C4 WRC stands out with a length of 4.20 meters, which allowed for an increase in its width to 1.80 meters, in accordance with rally regulations. These changes provided it with better stability in corners.

Successes in the World Rally Championship: The Citroen C4 WRC debuted in the 2007 season and immediately achieved success, winning the drivers' championship title in four consecutive seasons (2007-2010) thanks to Sébastien Loeb. At the same time, Citroen won the manufacturers' championship title in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The C4 WRC and Loeb maintained an impeccable record in asphalt rallies, winning all 13 purely asphalt rounds of the WRC.
