Plastic military model kit: Cromwell Mk IV (Type C hull) with deep wading equipment 1:72 IBG 72156

The British cruiser tank Cromwell A27M was one of the most important armored designs of the United Kingdom during World War II. Although the first prototypes were created as early as 1941, issues with the availability of suitable power units delayed mass production until 1943. The heart of the machine was a powerful Rolls-Royce Meteor V12 engine with an output of 600 hp, which provided the tank with excellent maneuverability and speed, making it one of the fastest tracked vehicles of its time.

The Mk IV version with a Type C hull featured specific armor design solutions, and the presented model additionally includes specialized deep wading equipment. These kits, mounted among others during the landings in Normandy, consisted of characteristic air intakes and shields that allowed vehicles to disembark from landing craft directly into the water and reach the shore under their own power.
