Historical background:
The Curtiss P-36 Hawk is an American, single-engine, all-metal fighter aircraft that made its first flight in 1935. Although it was inferior in performance to later designs such as the P-39 or P-40, it played a significant role in the initial phase of World War II. The largest foreign user was France (under the name Hawk 75), where these aircraft achieved success in combat in 1940. These machines also served in the British RAF under the name Mohawk, and also took part in the defense of Pearl Harbor and fought on the Eastern Front in the colors of the USSR.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are required (including nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes and glue for plastic models (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
