Vehicle history: The CV3/35, also known as Carro Veloce CV-35, was an Italian tankette used before and during World War II. Although classified as a light tank by the Italian army, its turretless design, weight, and armament made it closer to tankettes. It was the most numerous Italian armored vehicle and participated in almost all conflicts involving Italian armed forces during World War II. However, due to its thin armor and weak armament, it proved inadequate in modern warfare.
