Plastic model kit: Datsun Sunny Truck (GB120) "Early Version" with Surfboard 1:24 Hasegawa 20778
A plastic model kit depicting the iconic Japanese utility vehicle - the Datsun Sunny Truck (GB120) in its early production version. This particular kit is enhanced with a stylish addition in the form of a surfboard, allowing for the creation of a miniature in a surfer vibe, associated with seaside resorts.
The Datsun Sunny Truck, known in Japan as "Sanitora," debuted in 1971 and was based on the Sunny B110 model construction. Thanks to its reliability, simple structure, and susceptibility to modifications, it became a legend not only among craftsmen but also among tuning and water sports enthusiasts. The GB120 version was characterized by compact dimensions and a distinctive front fascia, which is reproduced here as an early production variant.
Kit characteristics:- Precisely reproduced body in white color.
- Additional resin element: surfboard (longboard).
- Detailed cabin interior and cargo bed.
- Early version of the grille and details characteristic of the first production series.
This model is an excellent proposition for collectors of Japanese automotive (JDM) and modelers building civilian and recreational dioramas.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. Assembly requires separately sold modeling tools (including nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
