Description
Plastic model airplane for assembly: DH. 82A Tiger Moth 1:32 ICM 32035
The De Havilland DH. 82 Tiger Moth is a legendary British biplane trainer from the 1930s, designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. This aircraft became a fundamental tool for training pilots of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and many other air forces around the world, including Polish pilot schools in the UK. The Tiger Moth remained in RAF service until the late 1950s, and after being retired from military use, many examples ended up in the hands of civilian users, where they still fly today.
- The model is made from new molds (2020), ensuring high detail quality.
- Accurately reproduced de Havilland Gipsy Major engine and cockpit interior.
- The set includes 93 plastic parts.
- Model dimensions after assembly: length 228 mm, wingspan 280 mm.
- Decals included for 2 painting variants, including a Polish pilot school:
- - DH. 82A Tiger Moth, No 25 (Polish) Elementary Flying Training School, summer 1944.
- - No. 3 Flight Training Sqn. K-2579 / 9, RAF Grantham, 1938.
