About Dongfeng-41 (DF-41): Dongfeng-41, also known as DF-41, is the fourth generation of Chinese solid-fuel ballistic missiles that are road-mobile. This missile is operated by the Rocket Force of the People's Liberation Army of China. DF-41 is the latest and most advanced missile in the Dongfeng series, and its official presentation took place during the military parade for China's National Day on October 1, 2019.

• Operational range: from 12,000 to 15,000 kilometers (7,500 to 9,300 miles)
• Maximum speed: Mach 25
• Capability to carry MIRV (Multiple Independently targetable Reentry Vehicle) warheads, meaning it can carry up to 10 independently targetable warheads.

The development of MIRV technology in DF-41 is a response to the implementation of the U.S. missile defense system, which undermines China's nuclear deterrent capabilities. The DF-41 project began in 1986 and may currently be linked to the JL-3 program.
