The model represents the flagship of King Edward III, which played a key role in the Battle of Sluys in 1340. In this battle, the English fleet, consisting of 250 ships, under the command of King Edward III, completely destroyed the French squadron of Admiral Hugues Quieret, which had 400 ships. This victory secured England's dominance at sea, which it maintained throughout the Hundred Years' War.

The "Thomas" model features a detailed representation of the historical ship, including an increased forecastle and a modified mast construction. Additionally, the set includes decals with the heraldic symbols of King Edward III, allowing for an even more realistic depiction of the historical appearance of the ship.

The kit requires the use of special glue for plastic models, which is not included in the set. Paints are also sold separately. It is recommended to use paints designed for plastic models to achieve the best final effect.
