The F/A-18E is a supersonic multirole fighter used by the United States Navy.
The Super Hornet is an enlarged version of the F/A-18C/D Hornet variant.
The first flight of the Super Hornet took place on November 29, 1995, and 759 units were produced. It is powered by two General Electric F414-GE-400 turbofan engines, each providing a thrust of 62kN (without afterburner).
VFA-151 (Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One) is a United States squadron stationed in California.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. It does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
