Description
Falklands Conflict Paint Set Vol. 2 8x17ml Hataka HTK-BS28
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing standard colors of the British Air Force used during the Falklands Conflict. The British forces involved included RAF units, Fleet Air Arm (FAA), Royal Marines, and Army Air Corps.
Most aircraft operated in standard pre-war camouflage, with a significant exception for the Harrier aircraft belonging to the FAA. The aircraft from 800 and 801 NAS had the color Extra Dark Sea Grey extended to the lower surfaces of the fuselage. In contrast, Harriers from 809 NAS, due to operating at high altitudes, were repainted in a Medium Sea Grey scheme on top and Barley Grey on the bottom.
Contents of the set:- HTK-B140 BS Extra Dark Sea Grey (BS381C:640) - overall color of Sea Harrier FRS.1 (FAA) from HMS Hermes and HMS Invincible.
- HTK-B141 BS Medium Sea Grey (BS381C:637) - upper surfaces of Sea Harrier FRS.1 (809 NAS) and Avro Vulcan B.2 bombers.
