Plastic figure to assemble and paint: French Headquarters 1805-1814 1:72 Zvezda 8080
The set attracts attention primarily due to the figure of Marshal Berthier, crafted with great sculptural precision. It also features a variety of accessories and an almost diorama-like composition of all the figures. By the end of the 18th century, the Great French Revolution transformed the French army, making it truly mass-based, as the creation of a conscript army began. This army needed a structure that could handle the organization, supply, and deployment of a vast number of military units. To this end, the General Staff was established in 1792. Under Napoleon, the headquarters began to tackle tasks that gradually became its main responsibilities and have survived to this day - it was tasked with ensuring the maneuvering and deployment of troops. The staff began to assist the commander in managing army units during battle and participated in strategic planning.
Set for self-assembly and painting. It does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
