Historical background:
The FWD Model B was a 1912 design that revolutionized the truck market by introducing four-wheel drive. The heart of the vehicle was a 55 HP Wisconsin engine. Although initially designed for the civilian market, its durability and excellent driving characteristics quickly attracted military attention. Faced with enormous demand during the Great War, licensed production was launched in several other plants, including Premier and Kissel, as well as in Great Britain. These trucks remained in use and production until the early 1930s.
