Plastic model depicting the German three-axle off-road vehicle Mercedes-Benz G4 (W31) in the soft top version from the 1935 production series. The set is designed with snap-fit technology, allowing assembly without the use of glue.
Historical Background:
Mercedes-Benz W31 Type G4 was a luxurious six-seater passenger car designed by Daimler-Benz in 1934. The vehicle featured three-axle drive and was powered by an 8-cylinder engine with 100 HP (110 HP in later versions). Although originally designed for the German army, it proved too expensive and complex for mass production. Only 72 units were produced by 1939, which served mainly the highest state and military authorities of Germany, including Adolf Hitler and high-ranking officers of the Wehrmacht and SS.
