Plastic model kit: G7117 US military truck 1:35 ICM 35597

This plastic model kit represents the American military truck G7117 from World War II. This vehicle was a variant of the G7100 series, introduced into production by General Motors in the fall of 1941. It featured four-wheel drive, a payload capacity of 1.5 tons, and a metal cab. The G7117 version was equipped with a mechanically driven winch mounted at the front of the chassis.

Most of these vehicles were sent as military aid to the Allies, but a certain number also served in the U.S. Army, mainly performing auxiliary tasks. After the war, many examples ended up in private hands.
