The Gaz-233014 STS Tiger model kit in 1:35 scale from Meng (VS003) is an excellent replica of the Russian high-mobility armored vehicle. This model kit faithfully reproduces both the characteristic silhouette of the vehicle and the details of the cabin interior. The model offers the option to build the cabin doors in either open or closed position, as well as a rotating mounting ring on the roof. The kit includes decals that realistically depict the vehicle's interior camouflage. Additionally, two painting schemes are available, allowing for model customization.

History and construction of the vehicle: GAZ-2330/2331 Tigr is a family of Russian military and police multipurpose armored off-road vehicles, produced at the Arzamas Machine Factory (AMZ). The vehicle's design began in 1998 in collaboration with Bin Jabr Group Ltd from the United Arab Emirates, but after the collaboration was terminated, GAZ continued the development independently. Prototypes of the vehicle were presented in 2000, and serial production began in 2006.

The GAZ-233014 STS vehicle, adopted into the armed forces of Russia in 2007, is a special transport vehicle. This version is equipped with thick armored steel plating, which increases its weight by about 700 kg compared to the basic version. The vehicle is powered by a 6-cylinder Cummins turbocharged engine with an output of 205 HP. The basic version of the vehicle carries a payload of 1500 kg and a 4-person crew, while the three-door version can accommodate between 6 to 9 people.

Usage and export: By 2017, approximately 350 vehicles from the GAZ-2330 family were in service with units subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and about 450 in the military. These vehicles were also exported to Armenia, Uruguay, Guinea, the Republic of the Congo, and China, where licensed production began as YJ2080.
