Plastic military model kit: German 7.5 cm Anti-Tank Gun Pak 40 Mid Prod with artillery crew 1:35 MiniArt 53010
A detailed plastic model representing the German 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun in the Mid Production version. The PaK 40 was one of the most effective and widely produced anti-tank weapons of the Wehrmacht during World War II, forming the backbone of defense against Allied armored units on all fronts.
This Special Edition set allows for the construction of a complete diorama thanks to the included artillery crew figures in dynamic combat poses. The model is characterized by high precision in the details of the gun shield and the carriage.
Main features of the set:- High-quality plastic moldings
- Set of artillery crew figures included
- Photo-etched (PE) parts to enhance detail realism
- Faithful reproduction of the PaK 40 Mid Prod gun construction
The 7.5 cm PaK 40 (Panzerabwehrkanone 40) entered service in 1942 as a response to new types of Soviet heavy and medium tanks, such as the T-34 and KV-1. This gun was valued for its armor penetration, low silhouette facilitating camouflage, and reliability. The Mid Production version featured characteristic design elements of the carriage and muzzle brake, which evolved during the conflict to simplify production and improve handling ergonomics.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. To assemble, you need separately sold modeling tools (e.g., nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
