German Anti-Personnel Mines Set #1 1:35 Yamamoto Model Parts YMP3509
A set of precisely crafted German anti-personnel mines from the World War II era, prepared by the Polish manufacturer Yamamoto Model Parts. The product is designed in 1:35 scale, making it an excellent addition to dioramas and models of vehicles and figures from this period.
The set includes replicas of three popular types of mines used by the Wehrmacht:
- Schützenmine 35 (S-mine 35) – 8 pieces. Commonly known as the "bouncing mine," it was one of the most effective defensive weapons of the German infantry. Upon activation of the fuse, the charge was thrown to waist height, where it exploded, scattering shrapnel in a 360-degree radius.
- Sprengmine 44 – 8 pieces. A simplified version of the anti-personnel mine introduced later in the war for material savings.
- Behelfs-Schützenabwehrmine – 8 pieces. An improvised or auxiliary anti-personnel mine, often used in situations of shortages in regular supplies.
Additionally, the set includes 10 cm of copper wire with a diameter of 0.1 mm, which can be used to create realistic tripwires or fuse elements.
