German Anti-Personnel Mines Set #2 1:35 Yamamoto Model Parts YMP3510

A set of precisely crafted replicas of German anti-personnel mines from World War II, prepared by the Polish manufacturer Yamamoto Model Parts. The product is designed in 1:35 scale and is an excellent addition for modelers building dioramas and vignettes depicting the battlefield or defensive positions.

The set includes a total of 20 elements:

10 pieces of Behelfs-Schützenmine S 150

Historical Background:
Behelfs-Schützenmine (auxiliary mines) were simplified designs introduced by the Third Reich for mass mining of areas with limited raw material resources. The A-200 and S 150 models featured a simple construction, often utilizing bodies made of concrete, glass, or wood, which made them difficult to detect by contemporary metal detectors. They were commonly used by infantry units and armored grenadiers on all fronts of the war, especially during the defensive phase of the German army's operations.

These models are characterized by high detail, capturing the distinctive shape of the fuses and mine bodies. Due to the manufacturing technology (3D printing or resin), the elements require careful separation from the support blocks before painting and assembly on the model.
