Plastic model kit: German Gedeckter Guterwagen G10 1:35 Thunder Models 35901
We present a plastic model kit of the German freight wagon Gedeckter Guterwagen G10 in 1:35 scale, produced by Thunder Models. This model is a great opportunity for history and modeling enthusiasts to recreate one of the most famous and infamous German wagons that played a key role in the history of the 20th century.
The Gedeckter Guterwagen G10, also known as a covered wagon, was first introduced for use in the 19th century. Its design was so successful that it remained almost unchanged for many years. During World War II, these wagons were an integral part of German military trains, transporting supplies and soldiers to the front. Unfortunately, they were also used to transport people deemed "enemies of the state" to concentration camps, making them a symbol of the tragic events of that time.
Model features:
- Scale: 1:35
- Number of parts: 210
- The kit includes plastic parts (frames 2xA, 2xB, C, 2xD1, 2xD2) with details molded using slide and multi-side slide technology, ensuring high precision and detail.
- Accurately reproduced chassis and pneumatic brake system.
- Faithfully recreated wood texture, giving the model a realistic appearance.
- The wagon doors can be positioned in any way, allowing for various model arrangements.
- Options for different appearances, giving the modeler freedom in customization.
- The kit includes a photo-etched detail sheet (PE) and 7 decal options, allowing for the reproduction of various historical versions of the wagon.
Assembly and painting kit. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
