Historical description:

The G917T truck was one of the most commonly used vehicles in the German army during World War II. Manufactured at Ford's plant in Cologne since 1939, it became a staple of the Wehrmacht's vehicle fleet. Equipped with a V8 engine and rear-wheel drive, this truck was versatile and used on various war fronts.

The G917T was present in campaigns in Poland and France, on the Eastern Front in the Soviet Union, as well as in North Africa and Italy. A total of about 25,000 units of this model were produced between 1939 and 1941. These trucks served not only as transport vehicles but also as command vehicles, ambulances, radio cars, and workshops.
