Description
Plastic military model for assembly: German Panzerhaubitze 2000 1:72 Meng 72-008
The Panzerhaubitze 2000 (PzH 2000) is a modern German self-propelled howitzer, considered one of the most advanced and effective designs of its type in the world. Developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and Rheinmetall, it entered service with the Bundeswehr in 1998, replacing the aging M109 systems.
The vehicle is characterized by exceptional firepower due to the use of the Rheinmetall L/52 155 mm howitzer. This system allows for firing 3 rounds in just 9 seconds or 10 rounds in 56 seconds. The range of standard ammunition is about 30-40 km, while using rocket-assisted projectiles increases this range to over 50 km. The PzH 2000 is fully automated, allowing it to fire in MRSI mode (Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact), where several shells fired at different angles hit the target at the same time.
The Meng model, catalog number 72-008, is a kit developed in 2025 using completely new molds (new tool), which guarantees the highest precision of execution and detail reproduction characteristic of this manufacturer in 1:72 scale.
