Historical background:
The Feldgendarmerie was the German military police, whose origins date back to the Napoleonic Wars. This formation was primarily responsible for maintaining order within its own army, prosecuting common crimes, and offenses against discipline and regulations. Although dissolved after World War I, it was reinstated in 1933 after the National Socialists came to power. During World War II, the Feldgendarmerie not only performed policing duties within the Wehrmacht but was also responsible for maintaining control in occupied territories, participating in anti-partisan actions and operations against the civilian population.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are required (including nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The picture shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
