A model kit representing the British jet fighter Gloster Meteor in F.8 and FR.9 versions. The 1:72 scale model allows for the recreation of this Cold War aviation icon. The construction is characterized by attention to detail, including precise reproduction of the engine nacelles and airframe.

History of the original:

The Gloster Meteor was the first operational jet fighter in British service, forming the foundation of the country's air defense for over a decade. The F.8 version, introduced in 1949, was the most refined and widely produced variant of this aircraft. Thanks to a lengthened fuselage, enlarged tail unit, and more powerful Rolls-Royce Derwent engines, the Meteor became a stable gun platform with significantly better performance at high altitudes. The FR.9 variant was a specialized armed reconnaissance version, equipped with an extended nose housing cameras, while retaining full armament in the form of four 20 mm Hispano cannons.
