Functions and mechanisms:

• Articulation: The head can rotate and tilt on a ball joint. The shoulder joints can move forward and backward and lift up. The arms can rotate on a pin joint and lift horizontally. Both elbow and knee joints can bend up to 90 degrees. The manipulators can rotate on a ball joint. The waist can rotate on a ball joint. The upper thighs can rotate on a ball joint, although backward movement is limited by the non-articulated skirt armor. The front and side skirt armors can rotate to avoid collision. The ankles can tilt and rotate.
• Weapons and other mechanisms: The hands are interchangeable. Each weapon can be held by the appropriate hand parts. The hands for holding weapons and weapon grips (except for the Beam Saber) have built-in pegs and holes for stable holding. The spare Beam Saber can optionally be removed from the left forearm as a handheld weapon. The large Beam Saber can optionally be removed from the backpack as a handheld weapon. The Fin Funnels (in readiness mode) can optionally be mounted on the backpack. Each Fin Funnel can be removed individually and transformed into attack modes or reattached using their retractable locks. The right Fin Funnel holder can be replaced with the Beam Saber holder from the backpack to recreate the Double Fin Funnel type if another HGUC ν Gundam model is purchased. The High Mega Shield is formed by combining the base shield of the ν Gundam and additional parts provided with this set. It can be mounted on either of the two forearms, although the left side is the default position. The bipod at the front of the rifle can be deployed/folded. The ν Gundam HWS can be mounted on any action base (sold separately) by removing the panel for a hard point 3 mm on the bottom of the model.

Tips and advice:

• For better results, some or most details should be applied using Gundam markers and/or Mr. Color paints. A topcoat (recommended Mr. Hobby) can be used to protect applied stickers/decals and, if any, painted details. Care should be taken when painting ABS joints: using enamel paint or excessive layers of lacquer paint can damage the plastic.
