The Gundam Astray Red Frame is one of three prototypes created by the Orb Union in the Gundam Seed Astray series. It is known for its versatility and ability to adapt in various combat situations. Features and functions of the model:

Articulation:

• The head can rotate and tilt on a double ball joint.
• The torso can tilt forward and backward.
• The shoulder joints can slightly tilt forward and lift upward.
• The arms can: rotate at the pin and socket joints, lift horizontally.
• The upper parts of the arms can rotate.
• The elbows are double-jointed.
• The manipulators can rotate on a ball joint.
• The waist can rotate 360 degrees.
• The side armor of the waist can rotate.
• The hip joint axis can move forward and backward on one side.
• The upper thigh joints can: move forward (and to some extent backward) at the pin joint, lift horizontally, rotate at each part.
• The legs have double-jointed knees.
• The ankles can tilt and rotate.
• The flight unit joints are movable.

Weapons and other features:

• The hands are interchangeable.
• Each weapon can be held by any of the default hands.
• The front grip of the beam rifle can rotate left or right.
• The beam sabers can optionally be removed from the backpack as handheld weapons.
• The combination of the beam saber/backpack can fold into the back of the waist.
• The shield can be mounted on: either forearm, although the default position is the left, either of the two L-shaped adapter pegs, depending on preference.
• The shield can rotate on the adapter pegs.
• The flight unit can be attached to/detached from the Gundam Astray Red Frame.
• The BuCUE head can optionally be attached to the right arm.
• The shield and rifle can be mounted on the left binding using the adapter.
• The Gundam Astray Red Frame can be mounted on any action base.

Gunpla is an abbreviation of GUNdamPLAstic model. The models do not require glue or (mostly) painting. They are based on the Japanese series - Gundam - which debuted in Japan in 1979 and featured giant combat robots, reaching heights of up to 18 meters, piloted by humans.

Assembly kit. To assemble, you will need modeling nippers (to cut the model parts from the frames), which are not included in the kit. It is also worth equipping yourself with a modeling knife (or a utility knife). The photo shows a professionally assembled model.
