Plastic model kit: GUNPLA MS-06S Zaku II (Red Comet Version), HIGH GRADE (HG) in 1:144 scale
MS-06S Char's Zaku II was piloted by Char Aznable during the One Year War. It is a modified version of the standard MS-06S Zaku II, which is a general upgrade of the MS-06F Zaku II. It is painted in red colors and has a "horn" on its head. The nickname "Red Comet" was earned due to its hit-and-run combat style (modifications included approaching the thrust power limit), which created characteristic red streaks on the battlefield.
Gunpla is an abbreviation of GUNdam PLAstic model. The models do not require glue or (mostly) painting. They are based on the Japanese series - Gundam - which debuted in Japan in 1979 and featured giant combat robots, reaching heights of up to 18 meters, piloted by humans.
Assembly kit. To assemble, you will need modeling nippers (to cut the model parts from the frames), which are not included in the kit. It is also advisable to have a modeling knife (or a utility knife). The photo shows a professionally assembled model.
