Plastic model kit: Gunpla MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid HGCU 1:144
Contents of the set:
- Efreet Schneid model
- 14 Heat Darts
- Manipulators: a pair for holding weapons, right one with a finger on the trigger
- 2 Heat Darts with heated tips
- Gigantic Bazooka
Features and functions of the model:
Articulation:
- The head can rotate on a ball joint and tilt slightly back thanks to a hinge.
- The mono-eye can move left and right using an internal switch (requires removing the top part of the head).
- The shoulder joints can extend to allow forward and upward movement.
- Arms: rotate on a ball joint, can lift horizontally.
- The arm armors are articulated, allowing some articulation to avoid collision with arm movements.
- The upper parts of the arms can rotate.
- The elbow joints can bend up to 90 degrees.
- Manipulators rotate on a ball joint.
- The waist is articulated on a ball joint, although movements are limited by pipes.
- The front and side armors can rotate (to a lesser extent for the sides) to not interfere with leg movements.
- The hip joint axis is a swing-type joint, allowing it to rotate up or down on one side.
- The upper thighs can move forward (and to a limited extent backward due to the non-sliding rear armor), lift horizontally, and rotate at each part.
- The legs have double knee joints.
- The ankles can slightly rotate or tilt at each part.
Weapons/Other features:
- The hands are interchangeable. The set includes only an alternative right hand.
- Each weapon must be held by the appropriate parts of the hand.
- At least two of the Heat Darts can optionally be removed from the main body of the Efreet if someone prefers to display the unit with activated Heat Darts.
- Gigantic Bazooka: the grip and sensor can rotate up and down, the grip can rotate forward or backward.
- Efreet Schneid can be mounted on any Action Base (sold separately).
Gunpla is an abbreviation of GUNdamPLAstic model. The models do not require glue or (mostly) painting. They are based on the Japanese series - Gundam - which debuted in Japan in 1979 and featured giant combat robots, reaching heights of up to 18 meters, piloted by humans.
Assembly kit. To assemble, you need modeling nippers (to cut the model parts from the frames), which are not included in the set. It is also worth equipping yourself with a modeling knife (or a utility knife). The photo shows a professionally assembled model.
