The Mr. Color Revival series is a unique line of products that revives iconic and extremely popular paint colors that were highly regarded by modelers worldwide years ago. Cerulean Blue is a classic shade of blue, positioned between a deep, saturated azure and the light color of a clear sky. It is one of the oldest pigments used in art, and its English name appears in sources as early as the late 16th century.
Mr.Color CRE REVIVAL paint is a top-class product, developed for the most demanding modelers. As a cellulose paint (Solvent Based Lacquer type), it is characterized by excellent application properties:
- Provides exceptionally smooth and thin coverage, without flooding model details.
- Features a very short drying time.
- Is optimized for airbrush painting.
- Exhibits high adhesion to various substrates such as plastic, metal, paper, or ceramics.
For best results, it is recommended to use the manufacturer's original thinners, such as Mr.Color Thinner or Mr.Color Leveling Thinner. Standard thinning ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 in favor of the thinner. Before use, the bottle should be mixed very thoroughly so that the pigments and base form a uniform consistency.
