Mr. Hobby T305 Acrysion Retarder is a specialized modeling additive designed for use with acrylic paints from the Acrysion series. Its main task is to slow down the paint drying process, which significantly affects the comfort and quality of work, especially when brush painting.
Using the retarder allows for:
- Extending the working time with the paint on the palette and on the painted surface.
- Better paint leveling, which helps in eliminating brush marks and achieving a perfectly smooth finish.
- Preventing the paint from drying on the tip of the brush during precise work.
- Facilitating shading and blending colors directly on the model (wet-on-wet technique).
The product is colorless and does not change the shade of the paints to which it is added. It is recommended to use a small amount of the preparation (usually a few drops per portion of paint) to achieve the optimal effect without excessively diluting the pigment. The Acrysion series is characterized by low odor emission and high safety of use, and the dedicated retarder is fully compatible with this innovative formula of water-based acrylic paints.
