Plastic figure kit for assembly and painting: Gurkha Rifles (1944) 1:35 ICM 35563
A set of 1:35 scale plastic figures for assembly depicting soldiers of the Gurkha Rifles formation from the World War II period (1944). The set allows for building the figure of a British officer and three Gurkha soldiers.
The Gurkhas are brave warriors from Nepal who have served in British-paid units since the beginning of the 19th century. They gained fame due to their tenacity, courage, and proficiency in using traditional kukri knives. During World War II, these units took part in key military operations, fighting against the Japanese in Singapore and Burma, as well as participating in campaigns in North Africa and Italy (including Monte Cassino). Their high combat value means they remain an integral part of the British Army to this day.
