Historical characteristics of Heinkel He 111 H-3:
Heinkel He 111 was one of the main bombers used by the German air forces during World War II. The H-3 variant, which can be built from this kit, was one of the most produced and used models of this series. This aircraft was powered by Junkers Jumo 211 D-1 engines with a power of 895 kW (1200 HP), allowing for significant speeds and bomb-carrying capacity.
The H-3 variant was introduced into production in October 1939, and its design was the result of experiences gained during the Polish campaign. Its defensive armament was increased, which included the installation of additional MG 15 machine guns and, in some cases, 20 mm MG FF cannons. This made the He 111 H-3 better suited to fend off enemy fighter attacks.

Historical curiosities:
Heinkel He 111 played a key role in many Luftwaffe operations, including during the Battle of Britain and on the Eastern Front. Its versatility allowed for a variety of missions, from strategic bombings to support for naval operations. The H-3 variant was particularly valued for its durability and ability to carry large bomb loads, making it an invaluable tool in the arsenal of the German air forces.
