Description
Plastic model aircraft kit: Heinkel He 111H-16 1:48 ICM 48263
The Heinkel He 111 is one of the most recognizable Luftwaffe aircraft, forming the backbone of the German bomber force in the first half of World War II. Originally designed as a fast passenger aircraft, it quickly evolved into a combat machine with a characteristic glazed nose. The H-16 version, introduced into production in late 1942, was the last mass-produced variant of this medium bomber. It was equipped with more powerful liquid-cooled Junkers Jumo 211F-2 engines and reinforced defensive armament, allowing it to carry up to 3000 kg of bombs internally and on external racks.
The ICM model in 1:48 scale is a detailed replica of this historic aircraft, offering modelers a high level of structural detail reproduction. The set allows for the construction of an aircraft that served on all fronts of the war not only as a night bomber but also as a transport aircraft or glider tug.
