Plastic model kit: Light Cruiser IJN Agano 1:350 Hasegawa 40076
The Japanese light cruiser Agano, launched in 1941, was the lead ship of its class, designed as a destroyer leader. These ships were characterized by a high maximum speed of up to 35 knots and strong torpedo armament, making them effective in fast night attacks and escort operations. Agano participated in key battles in the Pacific, including the fights for Guadalcanal and the battle near the Bay of Empress Augusta.
