Description
Israeli Air Force Paint Set (modern jets) 8x17ml Hataka HTK-BS62
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing standard colors used by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) since the late 1970s.
History and Application:
The so-called desert camouflage scheme from 1970, introduced in July 1967, remained in use on various IAF aircraft (including F-4 and A-4) until their retirement. In 1976, with the introduction of the first F-15A/B, the "Air Superiority Grey" scheme was introduced, derived from the American "Compass Ghost Grey" pattern (later used on F-15C/D, Kfir C2, and RF-4E Phantom). In 1980, the first F-16A/B entered service with a modified desert scheme, which was used on all versions of the F-16, Kfir C7, and F-15I. The latest acquisitions, such as the M-346I "Lavi" and F-35I "Adir," introduced entirely new camouflage schemes into the IAF.
